PROGRAMS OVERVIEW

After School Programming

This program provides recreational and educational activities for elementary, middle high school students who would otherwise be unsupervised after school hours.

The activities include Hip Hop Arts instruction in the five elements of Hip Hop: The Emcee (writing/rhyming), The DeeJay (musical production), The B-Boy/Girl (breakdancing), The Graffiti Artist (graphic arts) and The Entrepreneur (business).

Additional classes include: Acting, Arts & Crafts, Substance Abuse Prevention, Creative Writing, Fitness, Life Skillz, and Broadcasting

Summer Camp

Our Hip Hop Summer Camp is for students in middle and high school. The five week camp runs 3 days a week for 4 hours a day and will explore the 5 Elements of the Hip Hop Arts.

Hairbraiding

This program provides hairbraiding instruction for students of all ages and is provided during our after school program for youth and young adults and in the evenings and weekends for adults.

Boot Camp

Project: A.R.T. has initiated its Man Up! BOOT CAMP for male students who are having behavioral problems at home and at school. The program last for up to 12 weeks, 1-2 days per week for 4 hours per day. For more information Click Here.

Hip Hop Workshops

Hip Hop Workshops are for students of all ages including adults and can be scheduled on a regular basis or as one-time workshops utilized as a day-school enrichment session, a weekend extra-curricular activity of professional development. Participants have the opportunity to investigate trends and music industry standards based on a complementary theme.
