After School Programming - 21st Century Community Learning Centers - Middle School Students
This program provides recreational and educational activities for middle school students who would otherwise be unsupervised after school hours. The activites include Hip Hop Arts instruction in the five elements of Hip Hop: The Emcee (writing/rhyming), The DeeJay (musical production), The B-Boy/Girl (breakdancing), The Grafitti Artist (graphic arts) and The Entrepreneur (business).
Addtional classes include: Acting, Arts & Crafts, Substance Abuse Prevention, Creative Writing, Fitness, Life Skillz, and Broadcasting
After School Programming - City of Detroit Recreational Centers - Teen Hot Spots
This program provide at-risk teenagers with recreational activities during after-school hours. Hip Hop Summer Camp
Our Hip Hop Summer Camp is for students in grades 5-8 and grades 9-12. The five week camp is 2 days a week for 4 hours a day and will explore the Hip Hop Arts. All students who complete the program will walk away with a demo.
Hairbraiding
This program provides hairbraiding instruction for students of all ages and is provided during our after school program for youth and young adults and in the evenings and weekends for adults.
Project: A.R.T. is a non-profit, student organization designed to help decrease juvenile delinquency and victimization by focusing students' attention on the Hip Hop Arts through technology. Circa 1996
